Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and Bamboo Grove Workshop ("Ophthalmic Tech Jobs," "we," "us"). By using the site, you agree to them. If you post a job, you also agree to the Listing policy.

What the site does

Ophthalmic Tech Jobs lists job openings for ophthalmic technicians and assistants. We aren't an employer, staffing agency or recruiter, and we aren't part of any hiring decision. Applications go directly to employers.

For job seekers

• Using the site is free.
• We check listings, but we can't guarantee that every listing is accurate, current or still open. Confirm details with the employer before relying on them.
• Never pay an employer to apply, and never share bank or Social Security details in an application. If a listing asks for that, report it.

For employers

• Accounts. You must give accurate information and be authorized to post for your organization. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• Your listings. You're responsible for your listings being accurate, lawful and compliant with employment, pay-transparency and anti-discrimination laws that apply to you. You give us permission to display, format and share your listings on the site, in job alert emails, and in search engines and job feeds.
• Review. We review every listing before it goes live, and we may decline or remove listings under the Listing policy.
• Price and term. A listing costs $79 (or the price shown at checkout) and runs for 30 days from when it goes live. Payment is one-time. There's no subscription and no automatic renewal. You can renew in the last 7 days or after the listing ends, and the new 30 days start when the current term ends, so you don't lose days.
• When you pay. You pay only after your listing is approved.
• Refunds. You can get a full refund if you ask within 3 days of your listing going live and the position hasn't been filled. If we remove a paid listing for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund it in full. Closing a listing early doesn't qualify for a partial refund. Listings removed for breaking the Listing policy aren't refunded. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
• No guaranteed results. We don't guarantee any number of views, clicks, applicants or hires.
• Claimed listings. If you claim a curated listing, you confirm you're authorized to manage it for the employer.

Acceptable use

Don't:

• Post false, misleading or fraudulent jobs.
• Collect other people's information from the site, or copy listings in bulk.
• Inflate views or clicks, or interfere with how the site works.
• Access accounts or areas you aren't authorized to use.
• Use the site to send spam or for anything unlawful.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Content and trademarks

The site's design, text and code belong to us. Listing content belongs to the employers who provide it. COA, COT and COMT are credentials of IJCAHPO. We're independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by IJCAHPO, ASOA or any certifying body. Other names and logos belong to their owners.

Links to other sites

Apply buttons and original-posting links go to employers' own sites. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the site will always be available or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, hires or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us anything.

Indemnity

If you post a listing, you agree to cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim arising from your listing or your hiring practices.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll update the date above and notify employers by email. You can stop using the site at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Monroe County, Indiana, unless the law requires otherwise.
